Sales and Client Relations Specialist

CBS Renovation builds and renovates across the Netherlands: private homes and commercial properties, from a single room to a full rebuild, extension or new construction. We work as one team with the client, from the first conversation to handover.

We are looking for a Sales and Client Relations Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Handling client enquiries: keeping the list of enquiries, following them up, talking to clients, asking for further information, sending questionnaires, requesting building and structural drawings.
  • Arranging client meetings: discussing what the client wants, advising, collecting and analysing their requirements, building the project database, agreeing the brief so a quotation can be prepared.
  • Staying with the client at every stage: from agreeing the price and signing the contract through to monitoring the work and handing it over.
  • Documentation: preparing and sending invoices, tracking prepayments, keeping the invoice list, applying for municipal permits.
  • Working with architects on design questions, coordinating and agreeing additional work, helping clients choose and approve finishing materials.
  • Keeping the client register up to date and taking on other sales tasks agreed with management.
  • Editing texts for the website and promotional material, contributing to promotional products, organising photo and video shoots.
  • Designing client questionnaires and taking on other marketing tasks agreed with management.

Requirements:

  • Experience in sales and marketing, preferably in construction.
  • Fluent English and Dutch.
  • A construction background is an advantage.
  • The ability to work in an organised, effective way both on your own and in a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the patience to build long relationships with clients.
  • Confident with everyday software and with databases.
  • A creative approach to problems and the ability to think ahead.
  • Willingness to learn and to develop professionally in construction technology and materials.
  • The ability to adapt to change and to work on several things at once.
  • Professionalism and responsibility for the quality of your work.
  • A category B driving licence.
